Through psychotherapy, we help the clients of all age’s live happier, healthier and more productive lives.

In psychotherapy, our psychologists apply scientifically validated procedures to help the client develop healthier, more effective habits. Psychotherapy is a collaborative treatment based on the relationship between an individual and a psychologist. Grounded in dialogue, we will provides a supportive environment that allows you to talk openly with our counselors who are objective, neutral and nonjudgmental. We will work together to identify and change the thought and behavior patterns that are keeping you from feeling your best.

The problem with current time is that usually people don’t go see a psychotherapist as soon as they feel that they are not feeling mentally very comfortable. It is believed that our job, as psychotherapists, is to solve chronic metal deceases but this very belief is a reason that simple emotional problems with time convert into chronic metal problems. I have always heard people in their day-to-day life say to each other – “I am depressed”, like this is something so normal and obvious or more like a condition of present living circumstances.

Some people come to us to seek psychotherapy because they have felt depressed, anxious or angry for a long time. Others come to get help for a chronic illness that is interfering with their emotional or physical well-being. Still others may have short-term problems they need help navigating. They may be going through a divorce, facing an empty nest, feeling overwhelmed by a new job or grieving a family member’s death, for example. Our services are for all these small day-to-day problems so that they don’t effect you in coming future.

COGNITIVE THERAPY
______________________________________________________

As Individuals todaywe really undermine our past very much, and though ‘living in the present’ sounds like a great deal, when it comes to certain fears and anxieties that we face, the past has a lot more to do then we realize. Through Cognitive therapy we help our clients to realize and understand their past experiences better and thus help them deal through problems including depression, anxiety, anger, marital conflict, loneliness, panic, fear, eating disorders, substance abuse, alcohol abuse and dependence and personality problems. I provide relatively a short-term therapy that focuses on how you think, behave and communicate today by understanding your biases and distortions in thinking.

BEHAVIOR THERAPY
______________________________________________________

Behaviorism sees psychological disorders as the result of maladaptive learning; John Locke’s theory that says people are born tabula rasa (a blank slate) can be understood as a base. It is assumed that all behavior is learnt from the environment. There appears a constant and systematic relation between the individual and their environment. We as therapists thus focus on the current problems and behavior, and on attempts remove behavior that the client finds troublesome. Such a therapy helps treat conditioned such as PTSD, bipolar disorders. ADHD, self-harm and eating disorders.

FAMILY THERAPY
______________________________________________________

Family is the very first social group that an individual is a part of. With its overall   benefits this very intimate social group has also been the major cause of various psychological conflicts especially when we see in todays changing time with a generation gap so huge. Family counseling aims to promote understanding and collaboration among family members in order to solve the problems of one or more individuals. Families can benefit from therapy when they experience any stressful event that may strain family relationships, such as financial hardship, divorce, or the death of a loved one. In addition, it can be effective in treating mental health concerns that impact the family as a whole, such as depression, substance abuse, chronic illness, and food issues, or everyday concerns, like communication problems, interpersonal conflict, or behavioral problems in children and adolescents.

PRE-MARITAL AND MARITAL COUNSELING
______________________________________________________

Many a times you hear people planning their weddings, at times you just want to ask if they are also preparing for their marriage. May sound vague but marital problems in today’s time are a sign on ill prepared, ill though and misunderstood conceptions about important issues like marriage. Marriage has here become an issue because in our busy lives we never stop to introspect the complexity of this responsibility. It thus becomes a high for more open marital and pre-marital counseling.  Such counseling sessions with us offer benefit to all couples that are considering a long-term commitment such as marriage. Typically, our goal as premarital counselors is to identify and address any potential areas of conflict in a relationship early on, before those issues become serious concerns, and teaches partners effective strategies for discussing and resolving conflict.
